Hannah Woods (Cason)

Hannah Woods (Cason)
Hannah became a Doula because she truly loves to care for people. She enjoys talking about birth with expecting mamas, guiding excited parents through getting their home ready for baby to arrive, and supporting them down the road of the most memorable experience they will ever have…becoming a parent.
From the beautiful baby bumps and the victory of birth, to the tiny newborns and tearful new parents, Hannah finds joy in the abundance of this love. What an absolute blessing to be a Doula!
Born in Portland, Oregon as the third of five children, Hannah grew up in a loving, Christian family. Her passion for birthwork began when she was a young child and fueled her path to becoming a certified Doula through Birthingway College of Midwifery in 2013.
After seeing the true benefit that having a Doula can be for new parents versus how incredibly few families have this support, Hannah wanted to help change that. In January 2020, Stumptown Doulas was opened and has been offering pregnancy, birth and postpartum care to the Portland Metro and surrounding areas ever since.
Hannah values her faith, community, self-care, and respect and attempts to implement these in all parts of her life. When she isn’t attending a birth or helping out postpartum in a Client’s home, Hannah can be found enjoying the Pacific Northwests’ nature, crafting candles or canning produce from her garden, or binge watching a new Netflix series with a hot cup of tea.
Hannah resides in the Brooklyn Neighborhood of Southeast Portland, Oregon with her husband, Cameron Woods.
