Charley decided to become a doula after doing clinicals in nursing school on the Labor and Delivery floor. After she witnessed her first birth she knew her passion was labor and delivery but didn’t feel like nursing was her calling. After some research she decided to pursue becoming a birth and postpartum doula. She realized quickly that this is what she is meant to be doing with her life.
She loves to talk about all things birth and babies. She has been a nanny for the past 5 years getting lots of experience with newborns and babies. With her nanny experience she has been able to get very familiar with various types of baby products and willing to share this knowledge with her families.
Charley is very organized, caring, responsible, and goes above and beyond for each of her clients and families she works with. One of Charley’s goals for each of her families is making sure their home is organized and easily accessible on a day to day basis. Another one of Charley’s goals is to make sure her clients are educated on all things birth, baby, and postpartum to be able to make informed decisions, since there are a lot that are made.
Charley was born and raised in Vancouver, WA which is where she still currently lives with her boyfriend, dog and cat. She loves all animals and spends her free time watching movies and hanging out with family and friends.
