Liz Stevens
Hi!
I have been working with families for as long as I can remember. Working in social work, as a nanny and volunteering in children’s ministries and programs. I am very passionate about parenthood. I believe each family has a huge responsibility in raising a child and I think that no one should bear that weight alone.
I’ve been privileged with working with over 25 families as a postpartum doula for the last 3 years.
I am originally from Southern California and new to Portland. I love everything about the PNW. I moved with my husband and two children at the beginning of 2021. Becoming a parent pushed me into doula world. After struggling initially with my own postpartum experience, I felt deeply that there had to be a better way. I aim to bring value and joy to every postpartum family I work for as a way to redeem my own experience and make the world better. My children are my greatest teachers. They have given me unique perspectives on the world and helped me grow!
Liz is a compassionate, calm and funny person to be around. When she’s not working with families she can be found cooking, hiking, reading, podcast, travel and relaxing! She loves exploring her new surroundings in beautiful Oregon.
