Hi, I’m Christy,
I am first and foremost a MOM. It’s been in my blood ever since I was a little girl. When I discovered that a doula “mothers the mother”, I knew that this was my calling in life. I am a mother to 4 grown children, and I have over 25 years of experience with newborns and new families. I have always naturally been a caretaker of others, with a strong passion for helping new parents and new babies. I firmly believe that we were not meant to do motherhood alone.
I am honored to support new families before, during, and after the birth of their child. Every family’s needs are different, whether it’s a hot meal, a clean kitchen, a shower and a nap, a listening ear, help connecting to local resources, practical advice and instruction, a full night’s sleep, or simply a shoulder to cry on. I strive to provide non-judgmental support at all times, and I will support you in the choices you make for your own family based on your specific needs.
I love spending time with my family and with my hubby of 30+ years. We are still adjusting to live as empty nesters, and I truly miss the chaos of a full house. I was born and raised in Clark County, WA and have recently moved back after a few years in CA and OR. I enjoy the outdoors, being barefoot as often as possible, and meeting new people.
